I am an artist and documentary filmmaker primarily based in NYC for the last 12 years, and my partner is a filmmaker and photographer who often travels with musicians. In recent years, I have been traveling frequently while producing my own work on a shoestring and collaborating with artists outside of the NY film industry, and I find that taking care of other people's spaces and animals is a beautiful way to ground myself in new communities and be of service while I work on my projects.
I spent summer and fall 2018 traveling the country to make a film about medicine women, and I dog, (rabbit!), and house sat for people I met along the way. It was an incredibly rewarding.
This year, my partner and I are planning to house sit while we edit the film and I work on an accompanying book. Exact location is less important than being the right fit for the needs of the house and/or animals, so we are open to where opportunity takes us.
I am a direct communicator, patient, and responsible. I worked as a nanny for many years before becoming a film producer, and it always feels like an honor to care for another's loved ones and sacred spaces while they are away. We are grateful to be able to spend a little time in your world.
Thank you for reading. We look forward to connecting!
