I worked for a veternarian when I was in college, rode horses, and have owned dogs, cats and love all kinds of animals. Animals seem to like me too!
I am respectful of others privacy and property. I treat it as my own, but only better ! LOL .
My career was working in the legal field as licensed Private Investigator. I retired and volunteered for a non-profit that represents people wrongly convicted of the death penalty in the USA. Five years ago I retired, sold everything and traveled around the world and in the process cared for homes and pets all over from Tanzania to Mexico. A couple summers ago I spent three months on the island of Leros, Greece, teaching English to refugees. I helped set up the English program and managed the clothes distribution for a wonderful, local NGO. I then continued teaching ESL around the globe.
Currently I am in Poland attending University and will have the entire summer off and would like to do somemore traveling.
I am a genuinely caring person who will care for your pets and home with integrity. My last postion was difficult because there were 9 cats in the house, an injured newly adopted dog and 15 stray cats that I fed everyday. What was difficult was two of the cats became extremly ill due to previously undiganosed illnesses and I was proactive and aggressive in contacting the Vet and follow-up appointments. The owner and I were on the phone daily until the issues resolved.
I have a good sense of humor, have fun in everything I do, and I am an optimistic person seeking the best out of any situation. I have no addictions, nor do I smoke. I was a single mom for 18 years and raised three successful children. I am very responsible and good for my word.
I have many referneces on workaway, , personal letters and my kids still love me...so I must be doing something right! LOL
