Hi!! My name is Jennifer and I am a joyful, responsible, spiritual and adventurous person. Many families have entrusted their children, pets, and homes to me over the years. But I have only stayed in homes in or near my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I recently moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and I am ready to branch out and experience house and pet sitting all over the world!
I am an animal lover and have experience watching dogs, cats, and fish. I am open to learning about caring for chickens, birds, goats or other small farm animals. I have experience doing light pool maintenance, i.e., skimming off debris, untangling pool vacuum, cleaning out the filter, etc. I am a good problem solver and I am resourceful. I owned a condo in Atlanta for several years so I know what it's like to be a homeowner. I always leave a house cleaner than how I found it. I am in the process of contacting past clients to obtain references from them.
There is one caveat, my precious and very well mannered, chihuahua, Emma, will be joining me for long stays! She is tiny (only 5 pounds), housebroken, and is in excellent health. She is very social and goes almost everywhere with me! She does not have any bad habits and has never done any damage to anyone's home.
I recently launched an online store after a 16-year career as a recreation therapist at a nursing home. Because I have an online business, fast and reliable wifi in homes where I stay is a must! I am available to house/pet sit anywhere in the world as long as it is safe and secure with the use of a car or very good nearby public transportation. I also wish to be close to cities, towns, beaches, etc.
I enjoy meditating, weight lifting, Zumba, good food and wine, reading, self-development, learning, socializing, dancing, exploring, traveling, art, museums, culture and anything on or near the water. I plan to learn to scuba dive and can't wait to dive with great white sharks all over the world.
