Hi, all!
I am a Southern California native that has been living in Eastern PA for the last five years , and many other places before that, domestically and abroad. I am looking to travel some and explore possible new homes in CO, NM, and AZ, as well as just enjoy some nicer places on the east coast (in New England, the DC area and the Carolinas mainly, though I am also open to helping elsewhere) before I move west (in 2020 sometime). My schedule tends to be flexible, so I am open for many gigs.
A little about my character: I am clean, respectful, honest, and have a high level of integrity that's intrinsic to my nature. I try do my best in all I do and to do right by all involved. I am also open, kind, smart, aware, observant, care-taking and peace-loving.
Experience: Professionally, my background is diverse and multi-faceted. I love animals and have worked as a professional dogwalker and petsitter. I also grew up with MANY pets, and had a childhood dream of being a vet or zoologist - any profession that involved caring for animals. I also have extensive experience working with plants, on farms and in gardens of the holistic and organic nature, and with children in many capacities and roles, most recently in Waldorf/Holistic childcare settings/schools. I have spent over two years (in total/combined) as a WWOOF volunteer in the Mediterranean, at various farms and centers. Academically, my background is in Public Health and Food and Sustainability. *I can pass on a resume, if you so desire.
