I have had been bitten by the house sitting jobs after a house sitting at Christmas, last month and again this month.
I have a fully house trained Labradoodle x Spaniel and yep, she is full house trained. As a pup she was kept in the bedroom with me and after just a few weeks she stopped waking me up a few times a night ... now I either wake her up or she wakes me up by licking my face and then she toilets on command.
One day she will be an Assistance Animal, hence the reason for her excellent toileting skills.
I'm studying via distance so location is not an issue, wi-fi would be needed for long term sitting jobs.
ive taken care of a cat, fish and chooks and thoroughly enjoyed it - I'm a bit of a backyard farmer ... I can even look after bees if you have them.
Daisy has been raised with two other dogs and actually misses her cousins when we are away and also my cat but to a lesser extent - she doesn't run out and play ... she sleeps too much for me. She has be fine with other people's pets including the chooks.
I've been asked to keep plants alive which I've been successful at ... everything from roses to succulents. I'm not afraid to mow lawns ... it's just walking with a noisy machine in front of me.
I would treat your house as if it were my castle. I watched my parents pay off a house when interest rates were around 30% so I understand the hard work, care and pride people take in their places and expect someone to understand and do the same.
Please feel free to ask any questions and please remember my dog Daisy does come with me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
