About Me
I am a semi-retired lawyer. I was working in London, UK, and returned to Canada to help my aging mother. I graduated UBC and now have returned to Vancouver to look for a way of redesigning my life in a more fulfilling way. While doing that, I am seeking an affordable place.
A bit more about me? I have a passion for justice and helping impact lives. My interests include pop culture, movies, performance, feminist theory, organic farming, and baking. I love animals but allergic to cats and hay, sorry to say. I am very responsible and grew up in a medical household so I like to think my standards for hygiene are above-average and until now that would not have been an issue.
Please feel free to me. I am handy around the house and yard, having owned a home in Toronto and been a landlord for 13 years, so no worries about any surprises that may come up. I am very responsible and fair.
I am a non-smoker with a non-partier lifestyle, and love life. I like to stay in a routine (I also make extra money from home on projects), and then settle in for the day by later afternoon.
I would also prefer a non-smoking house and it would be great to have Wi-Fi, queen-size bed, and air conditioning.
My House-Sitting Experience
Mostly this has been for friends over the years, house and dog sitting. I have been a home-owner and so I am experienced with looking after a home.I am a very clean person and you will be very pleased coming home to a nice clean house.
I can bring a lot of life experience, good judgment and a responsible attitude. I grew up in the country and had lots of animals, small mostly.
