We highly recommend Claire. She is very conscientious, reading all of our notes and instructions, including photos of certain plants. She tended our garden and yard with great care, even during the heat of summer. There was an abundance of produce and she harvested and froze some for us. Our house was in very good shape when we returned. Claire is a great communicator, texting easily and sending photos, with questions when needed. She has a light footprint and respected our things. The best is how well she took care of our Westie. They became good friends from the first day. Claire was attentive to our aging pup, even taking her on drives and walks in other parks in Portland. We would have Claire house sit for us again, anytime, she did a wonderful job.

Claire is the most responsible house/cat sitter I’ve had. She is a clear communicator- she asks clarifying questions to make sure she knows what’s expected and lets me know how my cat is doing. My cat has some special feeding needs and Claire was patient and understanding, making sure my cat was taken care of. I felt safe knowing Claire was looking after my home and cat. She left my space just as clean if not cleaner than I left it. I recommend Claire to house/pet sit without hesitation.
