I co owned a business for 36 years in the roofing industry. It definitely was a great experience learning how to handle working with many different personalities and meeting expected results for our clients.
During this time I travelled to different parts of the world. I loved seeing how different cultures lived. This also made me appreciate how very fortunate we are in Canada. I had continued travelling until the world came to a skidding halt the last year and a half.
My partner and I have moved around in the past couple of years trying to find a new place to call home. Being a house sitter will give us insight into different areas that is not always readily available as a tourist passing through.
Although I did not grow up being around pets, three of my four daughters have a dog as part of their family. My partner grew up on a farm and was used to having cats around at all times. At one point in John's adult life, he took in rescue cats and cherished their personalities. He was, and is, fine with giving and injecting their medication. Of course the usual farm animals such as chickens and cattle were always on the farm as well.
He has been in the tech world since I have met him. He is at present a data analyst and a tech wiz for a few different clients. He does work from home, so great wifi service is a must.
I have been dubbed the Queen of Clean by my daughters. My standards are high when it comes to the cleanliness of a home. You need not worry about us keeping your home clean.
We are no strangers to keeping care of our yards, be it in the summer or winter. I wouldn't term myself as having a green thumb, but I will try my best with instructions at keeping your plants alive and well. Hopefully I will even learn a few pointers.
