Let me introduce myselft. I am a 39 year old woman from Vancouver Canada who is looking to help out with pet and house care.
When we are not travelling I work as a registered clinical counsellor specifically with children and youth. Prior to this, I was a veterinary assistant for 10 years.
Sadly, our family is currently petless as we lost our beloved cat Archie to heart disease last summer. We miss having a furry family member and will be getting another one soon.
I have extensive experience pet and house sitting and have looked after dogs, cats, birds, fish, and small pocket pets while their families have enjoyed a holiday.
I am comfortable giving medications and have a good awareness for when a pet may be sick or need extra care and attention.
We are a family of 4. Me, my husband, 4 year old boy and a new addition- a baby girl.
My husband is a wildlife documentary film director and producer who can work remotley. We have enjoyed travelling extensivley before kids and although our travels have slowed down now that we have children we love to go on adventures with them as often as we can. We value the rich cultural experiental education that travel gives and want our kids to experience this as much as they can too!
Our family enjoys time in nature like hiking, camping, swimming, and biking.
We are kind, contientions, responsible professionals and would love to explore the world a little more while loving and caring for other pets.
