I'm looking to explore California, see something new, find time to concentrate on my creative practice, and look after your house and pets.
I'm respectful and happy, with a love of animals and adventure.
While I am new to housesitting, I am used to looking after my & my wider family's own home, including my dad's place near Valencia, which has given me experience of house-based problem solving abroad.
I am a long time cat mum, and have childhood experience of looking after wider family pets including hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and Scamp our family dog.
In my life here in North West England, I have been solo-parenting my son, now aged 15, since he was 2. That's 13 years of creating and financing a safe, loving, and happy environment on my own - which I have been honoured and proud to achieve. His dad does every other weekend, and is more than happy for me to take a couple of weeks here and there to explore life and work on my creative practice through housesitting. I ran my own successful arts business for 12 years focussing on engaging communities, moving on to become programmes director on similar large scale work, and I also create my own immersive performance experiences for audiences.
If you invite me to support you through housesitting, I will spend my time working on new and developing projects, exploring the local area, and most importantly, taking care of your home and beloved pets.
