NomadicGuru stayed at our home with our epileptic Labrador over the winter holidays. She was a wonderful house and pet sitter. She is so kind and conscientious. She was clean, unobtrusive, and extremely helpful. On top of all that, she is also an incredibly interesting person. We had some wonderful conversations the few hours we were all in the house together. My children loved her.
There was an extreme cold snap while we were away, and she helped us ensure nothing would freeze or get damaged. She shoveled when it snowed, without us asking.
She also handled our special needs dog so well. It's not easy to give the dog medication. She persevered. Asked questions. Sent updates. But never too much. And she went above and beyond to bond with our dog and show the dog a lot of love and affection while we were away.
She collected packages for us, facilitated house cleaning, and took care of various odds and ends that came up while we were away. She was always so cheerful and a joy to work with.
