Hi! Thank you for considering me as a housesitter. If you choose me to take care of your home and pets, I promise you that both will be VERY well cared for.
I have a strong affinity for all living creatures and believe that all animals should be treated with kindness and respect. I currently do not have animals in my home but in the past I have shared my home with cats. I have experience taking care of cats, dogs, fish, horses, and bearded dragons as a trusted house sitter for many friends. I also fulfill my need to be around animals through local volunteer work. I am currently volunteering for the Feline Rescue Foundation of Alberta where I clean floors and cuddle with cute cats. Previously, I have volunteered with the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society where I cleaned cages and fed the animals.
I am a proud aunty and my number one priority is spending time with my nephews and nieces. When I am not with them then you'll find me on the tennis court. I am passionate about the game and play 5 times a week. My other interests include gardening, music, hiking, and camping.
I am an avid traveler and have been fortunate enough to visit many diverse places which has helped me expand my world view and make friends from various backgrounds. I'm comfortable travelling by myself and some of my biggest solo adventures have been 2 months in India, 3 months in Western Europe, 2 months in Australia and New Zealand, 1 month in Sri Lanka, and 1 month in Jordan.
To put a roof over my head and food on the table, I work as a software developer. I have been in this career since 1997 after I graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
I look forward to meeting you!
