About Me
I am an adventurous introvert that would love to see more of the world. I live at home with my two kitties, Nala & Neo. I enjoy gardening, reading books and being outside in nature. I work as a Special Education teacher during the school year & absolutely love it! I am responsible, organized and have a multitude of skillsets. I am a non-smoking, non-drinking & non-partiers– I'd rather stay curled up at home with a book in my hands and cats at my side.
Why I Want to House Sit
I am looking to travel around the United States, and hopefully abroad, to go to different areas to house sit and see the sites along the way. I have always wanted to travel and explore the world, but have not had the financial means to do so since graduating and becoming a special education teacher in If one day I house sit abroad, I look forward to experiencing other cultures and languages.
My Experience
I've held a vast amount of jobs in my life and am resourceful when it comes to earning money. While most of my career revolves around educating students in special education, I have house sat, nannied, gardened, grocery shopped for people, cleaned homes, walked dogs and taken care of cats and doordashed. I like to have side hustles to bring in more resources to support myself and my two cats. I am working hard to become financially stable through hard work and responsibility. I am organized, a great communicator and overall a respectful human being who loves to help others!
What Can I Bring to the Assignment?
I can bring my hardworking attitude and responsibility when it comes to caring for your home & pets. Having grown up with pets my whole life, I am very experienced with their care. When I was a teenager I lived on a hobby farm with my family. We had chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, cows, cats, turkeys, guinea hens, bunnies and a dog. I loved the animals and am a gently caregiver. My local neighbors often hired me to stay at their house & watch their pets. I have many great qualities to bring to the table and am excited for this new opportunity!
