We shall be in the UK from March 6th 2017, available to house sit in London May 1st-10th/11th 2017. We are a quiet, non-smoking, retired couple from.the UK, very respectful of other peoples' homes and property, who moved to Sydney in 2008 when our granddaughter was born there. We have enjoyed very many house exchanges since our children were small and there are several ex-exchangers in Sydney who have become friends, who would be happy to talk to you, should you wish to contact them for references etc. House sitting experiences have included looking after dogs, cats, chickens, one quiet horse, one very large pig, and, on one memorable occasion, more than 140 guinea pigs! We were guide dog boarders for several years, providing respite for dogs in training, or working dogs whose owners werent able to be with them for various reasons. Being very experienced at swapping homes, we are fully aware of the need to treat your home with discretion, respect, responsibility and care while you are away, and any pets with as much love and affection as we showed our own in the past. We can offer you peace of mind and total security. We check emails daily, so please do contact us with any further questions, with no obligation, and we will gladly return any calls, texts or emails. As non-smokers ourselves, we would only consider house-sitting for the same, please, and would appreciate some photos of your home with any requests to house sit, thank you, if none are provided with your listing.
Finally, we are sometimes asked if we charge for house sitting. We do not charge for normal house sitting duties, as we see this as a mutually beneficial arrangement, based on trust. We look forward to hearing from you, if you think we may be able to fulfill your house sitting requirements. Although any dates would be considered for short term sittings, we are currently particularly interested in house-sitting in central London May 1st May - 11th Back in NSW, short term house sits are often of interest and wewe are also sometimes available during NSW school holidays if our two very well behaved grandchildren might be allowed to visit. They have often traveled with us and know the rules, respect, respect, respect, and leave the place as neat a d tidy as you find it!
