I am a technical writer who generally works at home. I've housesat extensively in California and elsewhere. I have all kinds of references. There has never been a dog or cat anywhere that has not been immediately comfortable with me. I've also looked after fish, birds, turtles,you name it.
Horses are also comfortable with me and although I do not ride, I have looked after them. Have looked after large properties with pool and garden before. I'm neat, tidy and treat everyone else's property as I would want them to treat mine. I do not smoke or do any drugs.
I am extremely active, healthy. Unless requested otherwise, I brush pets in my care, take them to the vet or groomers, deal with tradespeople or cleaning services and anything else reasonable that people ask of me. If you'd like references, my two favorite ones will field a phone call from you, but they don't give anyone letters to post on a . Very careful ladies, like me. And they like to expect a call from a stranger, so if you or phone me saying you'd like to check references, I can let them know.
People/ clients have police checked me before and I know I will check out. However, I won't pay for the screening myself or post one myself.
