Retired kiwi couple both fit and healthy, non smokers, looking for housesit opportunities in Queensland as we like to escape the New Zealand winters and head to the warmth of Queensland .
Dave has vast experience in farming and boating and was a wildlife Ranger for 30 Years. He is quite a handyman after having lived on remote islands and being self sufficient when in the Lighthouse service.
Jude is a retired draughtswoman. We both like to walk and keep fit and love animals so would enjoy walking a dog/s or pampering cats. We have Goldfish at home so looking after fish and cleaning tanks is no problem.
We dont mind gardening and are clean and tidy round the house. In NZ we own our own home and also had a holiday house which we worked hard to get and we treat our properties with respect and would do the same with yours.
We have excellent references if required. We have been house/pet sitting in the Townsville/Cairns for 15 years and have completed in excess of 50 positions. We are now accepting house sits for winter (May to Nov) of We are fully booked up to then.
We are available for NZ housesits Dec to April.
I would like to make the point that when house owners take on a house sitter they need to make room for them to live, they need fridge space, freezer space, pantry space and somewhere to keep their clothes. Good internet access is generally very handy also.
