Fantastic time in Syracuse with little Tucker. Beautiful comfortable house and very nice hosts. We loved to go to Ogden for biking and hiking and Tucker was so good about allowing us to daytrip while he got some sun on his nice window seat. Again, 100% recommend housesitting for these great folks in Syracuse!

 We thoroughly enjoyed caring for two cats, Milo and Bailey and they entertained us every day with their antics.  The homeowners have had other house-sitters and were well prepared with detailed instructions for us and a folder with maps and suggested activities in the area.   Their home is clean and well furnished and we had everything we needed to care for the cats and be very comfortable in their home.

Wonderful stay in the high country

Delightful owners, making us feel very welcome. It was a pleasure to mind their two adorable rescue dogs Moose and Gus. The home is walking distance to the centre of Bright, with lovely walks locally. We were allowed the use of two electric bikes during our stay. So much to see and do and the dogs were a breeze to look after. I can highly recommend this house sit to any future applicants.

4 Cats and a lovely housesitter - high recommend Vic2022

Vic came to stay with us for week before we needed her. It was great. We got to know her while still being with our cats to ease the transition of us being away for any length of time for the first time for my two young ones.

Vic is funny, interesting and has a wealth of information and advice. We enjoyed her company while home as was very happy with the updates and photos of our pets while away. 
 

Our house was tidy when we got back and our cats look well and happy.

Two kitty cats who steal your heart

My husband and I sat for James and Stacy's kitties for a month.  They were super nice and their home was so cosy and comfortable.  The location was excellent for shoping and getting on the highway to go to other places in Dallas.  The best part of the sit were the two absolutely adorable cats, Lucy and Aigne.  They are so pretty, soft and sweet.  It took them a little while to warm up to us but then purrs and pets were the name of the game.  It was hard to leave them and we miss them alot.   Thank you Stacy and James.  We would love to take care of the girls again.

Super comfortable & relaxing

A great exerience with our hosts and their beautiful cats. The home has every comfort and everything is organized perfectly to make looking after the cats a breeze. Loved sitting by the fire in the evenings during this chilly April as well as outdoors on the backyard patio when the sun did peek out. Local shopping and services are five minutes away or 15 mins will get you to a large mall. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Hosts provided excellent written information about the house & pets and were quick to respond when we contacted them. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Sitting with Luna, for Madeline, was a pleasure and worked out wonderfully in so many ways.  It made my visit with my family so much easier and more relaxed to have my own space, vehicle and routine.  Madeline made it super easy for me to learn the "ropes" of how things worked in her home, with Luna and her vehicle - everything.  I felt very comfortable in Madeline's home, and communicating with her was a piece of cake.  She is a warm, welcoming, easy-going person.  Excellent experience! :-0) 

Excellent Housesit Experience!

We can't imagine a better housesit experience than our time with Georgette. Her beautiful home was comfortable with every modern convenience, plus beautiful waterfront views! Georgette’s instructions were easy to follow and well thought out.

Little Sascha is a sweet and very intelligent cat. She was a little skittish at first, but warmed up to us quickly. Sascha also provided constant entertainment with her antics and playfulness. We are hoping to housesit here again, everything was perfect! 

Betsy and Tim went above and beyond!

We feel so fortunate that Betsy and Tim were the caregivers for our house and dog.  They were wonderfully communicative, very very responsible, and when our little dog had an unexpected health crisis the day before they left, Tim stayed up all night with him, got him to the vet, and made sure that everyone was informed about the situation.  His caring for our little dog was genuine and incredibly thoughtul.

We are delighted that they have agreed to come stay at our house a second time next month. If youi are ever in need of house and/or dog sitters, please know that Betsy and Tim are the best!

Linda and Dave were wonderful house/pet sitters and we felt relaxed and secure on our vacation!

Linda and Dave had great communication with us. They were flexible and arrived right around the time we had requested and were very attentive as we gave them the tour of our house and pet needs. We felt completely relaxed and confident that our house and pets were in good hands on our vacation, which allowed us to really enjoy ourselves. 

Our house and pets were in excellent shape when we returned and they had even cleaned and washed all the bedding and made the bed again! How nice it was to be able to come in and unpack and not have to wash the bedding and make the bed!

I cannot recommend Dave and Linda enough! You would be lucky to have them house/pet sit for you! We hope we can have them back in the future!

Karen did an ablosutely ourstanding job with our home, plants, cat, and decorative pond & fish, and took excellent care of a challenging situation with the pond.  

She kept us updated on everything going on, and the cat absolutely loved her.  He is an old cat and needs lots of love, which she gave him.  He was spoiled when we returned home, which is good for an older animal. 

She made friends with neighbors and others in the area, all of whom enjoyed doing cross country skiing, bicycling, and hiking with her. 

We highly recommend Karen to look after your home, pets and plants the way you would care for them.  She was respectful of the our organization and the way the way we keep things, and left our home clean and our plants, cat and pond in impeccable condition.

Marge and Ron are wonderful!

Marge and Ron  popped in for a couple of days and even thought I didn't meet them beforehand, it felt like someone familiar was coming into my home. They just know.  They know how to keep the animals happy.  And how to be awesome house guests.  I loved the fact that we were able to keep in touch via text, even though there was nothing that they needed...they just stepped right in and made everyone comfortable.

I won't hesitate to Invite them back again.  They are thoughtful, thorough, flexible, and kind. 4 paws up!

Mark and Marian were everything we could have asked for in House and Cat Sitters!

Very easy to connect with and communicate with before,  during and after the house sit.   

They were flexible about dates, our home and yard was in great condition with all just as it was when we left.  

They cared for our two Maine Coone's very effectively, and even bought the boys a new brush, catering to their wims and schedule,  and sent us regular reassuring updates. 

We would be very pleased if they would return to house sit and cat sit again some day, should it work out for us both again.

Jean is a real Gem!  Jean housesat for me in Sacto for almost a month while I was away in Europe.  She kept in contact with me with pictures and updates and was an active, loving companion to my 2 large dogs and elderly cat.  I returned to my home that may have been neater than when I left it and I felt confident and good to leave my precious fur family in her care, not easy when gone for a long time and far distance.  She also watered my indoor and many outdoor plants :)   I would not hesitate to have Jean back again for my next vacay!

They were friendly and proper housesitters. Looked after the place impeckably and even brought me to the airport. Thanks so much!

Communication was a bit minimal and unfortunately, they didn't follow the feeding instructions for the cats and they were grossly overfed, leading to my cats becoming obese in just a few weeks. Many people don't know about the harm overfeeding does to animals, especially cats, but sometimes a bit more openness to the pet owners' wishes helps.

I can highly recommend them to look after your property, as for pet care, you might want to talk to them beforehand. After all this is a learning process and I know they meant well and loved the cats.

The hosts were awesome and so easy to talk to and communicate with.  They made us feel right at home.  All questions were answered and the schedule was all set before we even arrived.  

The dogs knew the routine so well that the one day we were not on time Chunk and Pitty Pat let us know we were forgetting something.

There was so much to do in the area but there was so much to do right at the house we really didn't have to leave.

Cathie stayed at my home in southwestern NH for 3-1/2 weeks this past spring to care for my shih tzu mix Luna. Luna had a fun time visiting with Cathie's relatives in the area, and got lots of exercise. Cathie provided photos and updates on their doings, which was a wonderful comfort since I was travelling overseas and missing my little one. ;-)

When I arrived home, the house was sparkling clean, and she'd even left a few vegan items behind in the fridge for me to try! What a wonderful pet/house-sitter. I can't recommend her highly enough!

We were very much impressed with Barbs heritage home with all the authentic furnishings and decor, when we arrived . Apollo and Eunice met us at the door very curious and friendly to see who their news friends were. 

 As Barb said they ignored us when we weren't encourageing them or of course feeding them . My walks with Eunice were very enjoyable exploring the neighbourhood, with  very friendly neighbours. 

 Barb was only a text away when needed a question answered and when we arrived made sure we had all the important info to make our stay enjoyable which it certainly was. We are looking forward to sitting again when available.  

5-star homeowner and housesit!!

I enjoyed the best sit ever(!) in Susan’s beautiful and comfortable home with her wonderful housemates, golden lab Ace, labradoodle Ruby and tuxedo cat Cody!

As a homeowner, Susan went above and beyond, providing me meals from Green Chef and Freshly during my entire stay as well as generous compensation!  We stayed in almost daily communication via WhatsApp.  But the best part was the fun I had playing ball with Ace and Ruby. All three animals were such wonderful company while I watched TV.  Oh – and we all slept together too!  

I would sit for Susan again in a hot minute!

Marion treats our pets as if they were her own.

This was our 3rd time having Marion care for our dogs, and as usual she was great.  She was coming to care for 3, but by the time she arrived there was only one that remained.  Our little dog Tucker was a bit loney after losing his 2 companions, and she filled the void beautifully.  Marion is not just a house and pet sitter, but I consider her my friend as well.  I am very grateful for the loving care she provides.

It's always difficult to leave our pets in the hands of strangers.  Tucker is slowing down in his senior years, but had plenty of company until the recent loss of his long time companions--our two Papillons.   Dave and Cheryl arrived promptly as promised and were fantastic the way they cared for him as if he was their own.  He bonded to them instantly.  We returned to a clean home and a very happy dog.  We are so very grateful to Dave and Cheryl for their kindness.  We would have them back with no second thoughts whatsoever and hightly recommend them.    

Back in my old neighborhood!

A wonderful sit with Sparky the cat in my old neighborhood near Golden Gate Park - an added bonus!  A comfortable bedroom downstairs with a bathroom down the hall; and Sparky was good company!  Mary is a great person to work with and we kept each other informed of our comings and goings.  I am looking forward to sitting for her again in July.

Being with these animals ... (Buster... Sebastain... Adrienne, and Bubbles the dog) was a love fest we wouldn't have wanted to miss. 

Also Ellen and Dan are fascinating people who shared some of their local food adventures with us.

They encouraged us to try some new and exciting restuarants where, for example, we sampled indigenous North American and Mayan dishes and exotic deserts. 

They were generous with their time and accomidated our needs.

Cat and Allen arrived as we had agreed. They are a nice, quiet couple with a lot of housesitting experience. Our house and pets were well cared for and our house was clean when we got back. Our cats Adrianne has just started a special diet and she was fed properly. We can tell when our three cats and dog are happy with people, they love Allen and Cat! They are fascinating people and we hope to keep in touch to visit with them when we can connect. We highly recommend Allen and Cat as great house and pet sitters.

Barb and Mike are down home folks that just loved our pups. They came in a day early so we could go over everything clearly and allowed us to leave the next afternoon. Everything was taken care of like it was their own. These are special folks and we are so glad they got to relax. We now have 4 couples that we would gladly use again to take care of our home. They fixed a few things like a door on rails. They also communicated with us keeping us apprised of everything. I would gladly recommend them and discuss their stay with anyone interested. Awesome folks!!!!

Lovable pets and wonderful hosts and house!

The Clarks were kind and generous hosts with a gorgeous and huge house.  We loved hanging out on the back patio overlooking the pool and flowers.  Daisy the dog was sweet and a hoot to play with.  Coco the cat would serenade us.  Anyone who has a chance to pet sit for the Clarks is in for a wonderful time.  We hope we can sit for them again some time.

Ron and Judy were excellent house and pet sitters who obviously love dogs and cats.

Our Anatolian Shepard is very opinionaled about what he will do, when, and it seems that he bonded with Ron and Judy and was happy to be with them. The rest of our pack, a West highlend Terrier and two cats also were happy with them. They were well looked after and groomed and excercised regularly.

I must add that our home has never been so clean, excellent care was also taken there.
