I am a 42 yr old widowed (since '02 )American woman. I love to paint, write and be in nature. I was born and raised in Virginia, but attended Stanford University and fell in love with the Bay Area. I have a degree in Child Psychology and have worked as a fashion model for several years as well as a counselor and therapist. I am peaceful, organized and full of grace. I am vegetarian, scrupulously tidy, very responsible and practice lovingkindness with pets and people.
My intention is to travel for the next several years both nationally and internationally, to write, study and uplift humanity. Over the past years since my late husband passed away, I have lived in the Bay Area, Europe, Mexico, West Africa, the Washington D.C. area and Virginia Beach. I usually have a long-term arrangement for a year and then have a series of shorter term adventures, sometimes housesitting and other times subletting/renting.
What I am looking for in this coming travel period is simplicity, wholeness and true community. I enjoy eating healthy food, doing yoga and communing with animals, nature and people. I like to be very present in my adventures and adopt whatever home and pets I encounter during my stays as my own. I can assure that you will be able to count on me in every way as it pertains to your pets, home and community.
Currently, I am writing a book on spiritual philosophy and have a stable income, so I would have no problem covering utilities and other expenses.
