Just returned from overseas and ready to housesit after 19th June 2018.

I have cared for over 30 properties and a wide variety of pets and breeds, both in the city and in the country over many years.
I understand the trauma that pets experience when their owners go away on vacation. I know that pets don't seem to have an understanding of human holidays and may even feel deserted. I do my best to be a suitable surrogate with lots of attention, pats, cuddles, walks, and reassurance.
The advantage of hiring me is that I am basically a home body. I don't go out very much and I very seldom if ever go out at night. So your pets virtually have me on 24 hour notice give or take a few hours when I do food shopping. I am retired now so I happily sit at home. Pets love this and often seem a little disapointed when their usual humans return.

I am good with dogs, cats, birds, sheep, cattle, chooks, ducks and most creatures great and small. My horse whispering skills are improving as last year I looked after a number of horses.
I am totally honest, reliable and trustworthy.
I am a Justice of the Peace and in order to attain this position of trust and authority I have been checked out by the Australian Federal Police as well as every state and territory police agency in Australia.
I don't have my own car so I rely on public transport to get to your place and also to get my shopping while you are away.
I am very clean, neat and tidy. I am a non smoker, non drinker and have never taken drugs in my life.
Was a teacher (Health and PE), child care worker, public servant, hospitality manager, and also involved in sales/clerical positions during my working career.
I prefer a nice, warm, very quiet (I'm a light sleeper), comfortable, uncluttered, minimalist room while I am looking after your place. I also would like some cupboard space for my belongings.
Having access to a PC or Wifi access would be handy but not essential.
It would be nice to get a bio on all your pets, with info on their health issues, their food preferences and behavioural tendencies. This makes my job easier and ensures your pet gets optimal care
As a bonus for hiring me as your personal housesitter, you get a Free House-Sitting Report which summarises my time at your house.
I usually also take pictures of your pets and the surrounds which I leave on a usb or later to you.
Sometimes I also do a day-by-day diary or log to let my house-sitting hosts know what transpired on a daily basis.
I am happy to contact you regularly by phone or while you are away if you require this. Sometimes I send video footage of your pets as well.
