I am a friendly and reliable, simple and quiet, animal and nature loving 40 year old Midwesterner who genuinely enjoys tending to a home and animals. I caught the travel bug in my early 20's as a cruise ship singer and discovered house and pet sitting along the way as the perfect way to continue traveling in between contracts. While I no longer perform on ships, I continue to house and pet sit whenever possible and I now run a pet sitting business out of my own home as well as work remotely in social media management.
While I am first and foremost a homebody, I enjoy being out in nature and going on walks or hikes, visiting local eateries, cafes, bookstores and farmers markets, taking and editing photos, daydreaming, researching, writing and reading. I am in great physical shape, a non-smoker, and live a healthy, peaceful, introspective lifestyle.
I have been lucky enough to have house and pet sat in some amazing places and loved and adored so many pets over the years - from cats, dogs, birds, farm animals, and reptiles. I spent many months house and pet sitting on and off while exploring the west, particularly California, my favorite state for its beaches, mountains and deserts. -5 days on the beach in Marina Del Rey with two Chihuahuas.
-5 days in Palm Springs with two giant Sheepdoodles.
-1 week in an apartment in Santa Monica with the cutest Pomeranian.
-2 weeks in a home in Studio City with senior dog and indoor/outdoor cat.
-1 week in a remote home in Santa Fe, NM with four dogs, two cats.
-1 week in Greensboro, VT with 1 dog and 5 chickens.
Other:
-5 days in a home in Buffalo, NY with two parrots.
-1 week in a home in Santa Fe, NM with two horses.
-1 week in the rural mountains of Ojos Sarcos, NM with a turtle.
