We are looking for a house sitter or sitters this summer for about a month to take care of our dog and take him on a couple of walks a day...the occasional longer walk would also be great.
We are open to a single sitter staying at the house for the month, or two sitters who can each take a portion of the time.
My husband will be home for about 2.5 weeks of the month, but when he is in town, he will be working during the day and doing his own things in the evenings and on weekends. Sitters will have their own space in the spacious lower floor of the house, which includes our guest room, family room (with TV and Amazon Prime/Netflix) and a separate bathroom.
Our house is in a friendly and safe neighborhood, with a nice park on an adjacent block. It is within walking distance to the North Boulder recreation center and a mile from Ideal Market. If you like to walk, Pearl Street is about a 30 minute walk, or it's a few minutes to drive. We're close to bike trails and less than a mile to the nearest hiking trail, which connects you to Mt. Sanitas.
Our house has a well-equipped kitchen for those who like to cook, and it gets a lot of natural light. It's also close to good restaurants, for those who don't. :)
We are very comfortable here, and hope to find a guest who will enjoy our space in exchange for caring for our dog, Rudy. Rudy is a very smart dog, and really great at taking direction. He gets a lot of love from our family members, and gives a lot in return. He is a great companion!
Rudy is a rescue dog, so we're not sure of his breed mix, but he seems to have some combination of Dachshund and Jack Russell Terrier, with possibly a little bit of Chihuahua?
