We are looking for a pet sitter who can feed our dog and give her medication twice a day. She is epileptic and consequently the easiest, sweetest dog. Her seizures are well controlled on medication. She has a couple seizures a year and usually after stressful events, like traveling or having a puppy in the house. You don't need to do anything if she does have a seizure but clean up and comfort her after.
She is nervous about other dogs, especially if they want to play with her. But she has no problem with people, unless it's a small child who won't leave her alone and isn't being gentle. She will try to hide in that case. We have kids in and out constantly. She sleeps through it all. We call her our stuffed animal because she mostly sleeps all day. But she welcomes gentle pets and snuggling. She has a dog door and fenced yard and doesn't really like walks.
We are conveniently located between Boulder and Denver just off I-25 with easy access to the best of Colorado living. Lakes for paddle boarding/fishing and trails for mountain biking/hiking. Farmers markets. Outdoor summer concerts and movies. World-class breweries and cideries. Skiing is an hour and a half away. Winter Markets. Performing Arts and Concerts.
Our neighborhood has several playgrounds, a community pool, a bike park, and lake. Weekly food truck event with live music during the summer. There are 2 rec centers in Broomfield. The one closest to our home is about a mile away and has an indoor family pool with slides and splash zone and lazy river as well as an indoor playground for young kids.
Our home is 2500 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an unfinished basement outfitted with climbing ropes, a swing, and gymnastics equipment for kids. Outside we have an inground trampoline, fire pit, grill, and basketball goal. Attached 2 car garage.
