We are a retired medical couple , living on a peaceful 10 acre lifestyle block 3 km from Tokoroa, 1 hour from Hamilton, 45 minutes from the thermal delights of Rotorua and Lake Taupo,and 30 minutes from the popular village of Tirau. We need a couple preferably, or someone who loves dogs to keep an eye on our 2 scottish highland cattle , and look after our border collies , cat , horses and house while we are away on holiday. Our Collies are Tarn, an 8 year old who just needs you to keep him occupied with throwing balls and walks .He loves company and someone to talk to him , and Crystal our 10 year old female collie.We live in an architecturally designed award winning house and have our own independent power supply (not connected to national electricity grid), so need someone to keep an eye on this too while we are away. At this time of year we have an excess of power so nothing needs to be done, however all tuition given!.And at this time of year the cows and horses won't need any feeding out.We are away from 20th March 2019 - back on the 27th March We suggest that you need to be here for familiarisation from the 19th March and are welcome to stay the night of the 27th as we are back early evening . A vehicle will be available if required .Looking forward to hearing from dog loving people. !
