I am looking for a house, farm & pet sitter to help looking after my pets, farm and garden for long term. Our property is on 7 acres and has wonderful views over the valley if you like to explore it.
You can have your own room in one of the buildings and use our commercial kitchen. There is a nice out door area, shower, a fridge, WIFI, bore water ....
We are located 45 min from the Gold Coast or Byron Bay, 10 min from Murwillumbah and close to its cafes, supermarket and public transport.
The Crystal Creek area is part of the scenic tourism drive but there are also lovely places to visit within an hour's drive if you have transport.
Non-smoker & mature single lady preferred, but age is not a high criteria. We are generally after someone who really loves animals, is home a lot of the time and is not a party person.
I have a small "animal sanctuary" with some rescue animals and pets:
- 2 large dogs which are very gentle, but need some grooming
- 2 pound cats,
- 4 geese,
- 6 goats,
- 4 pet cows for lawn mowing,
- 2 ponies,
- 2 miniature donkeys,
- 4 rabbits,
- some chicken
Chooks and geese are free range and are shut in at night. The other farm animals just requires access to water trough.
We have some pet parrots too which get spoiled too.
Garden lovers would be an added bonus. There will be help with the mowing and weeding required.
Our place is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves animals and nature.

* Be aware that you have one room available + usage of a community, commercial kitchen. We prefer a single, mature person because of the space.

* We are looking for a carer FOR AT LEAST 2 years, we are not able to have short term options.
