Hi. Looking for a reliable couple/single, non smokers, who might like to stay whilst we do short trips within Australia who also likes rural peace and quiet.
We are just outside of Goulburn (90Klms from ACT) about 20klm north west from the CBD on 30 private peaceful acres with a small number of friendly alpacas, some hand feeding and contact with them and checking the water troughs is basically part of the stay.
We are not long term travellers only within Aust.
Also topping the automatic feeder for the chickens, and of course enjoying the beautiful free range fresh eggs. Some watering of the veg garden most of which is automatic and using the vegies when in season.
I stress there is no need to have any experience with alpacas, they are enjoyable animals to be with and look after. They are considered pets.
Accommodation is fully insulated and wood fire heated, 3 double bedroom, full kitchen combined dining area, TV room with DVD etc. access to broadband NBN satellite internet for your laptop, Foxtel & satellite TV, no bath as we are on tank water, external sauna (winter only), BBQ area and garage parking. OR the fully self contained cosy comfortable granny flat adjoining is also an option with similar amenities should you prefer, your choice.
We are a bit fastidious about neatness and cleanliness so if you feel you fill this, and like to relax totally away from noise etc. and like peace and quiet, get in touch and I can send any photos you might want to see, but I have attached some to this just to give you an idea of the place.
Sadly no dogs due to alpacas as they can kill a dog if loose in the paddock, no cats due to the wildlife birds around the homestead.
Our Jack Russell may travel with us or may stay with the sitter if suited.
Like to consider someone maybe ongoing with heaps of notice for future sits if it suits. In this case we could also be happy to have you here when we are not travelling free of charge just somewhere to get away to now and then. Thanks
