A house sit with a difference. My wife and I recently moved to the Scottsdale area and my work can take me to any location in Australia. My wife has just been diagnosed with cancer and is now receiving chemotherapy for her condition. We are looking for a sitter that can stay for an extended period and does not mind being in the house when we are there. You would have your own room with a double bed in our 3 bedroom house. There will be times when we will both be home and there will be times when we will both be away (me working and wife in hospital). There will also be times that only I will be home and times only the wife will be home. The advice from the medical people is that my wife should not be on her own hence the need for the sitter to also be able to not so much be her carer but be there in case she needs to go to the hospital/doctor as she is unable to drive. She is not incapacitated and can do all the things she would normally do except for a little help with the housework and getting to doctor appoinments when I am away working. We have a vehicle for you to use and would consider you part of the family as far as food expenses go. We have 2 Jack Russell dogs and a himalayan burmese cat plus some goldfish in a pond that we inherited when we bought the house.
