Am in need of a dog sitter in my home. Current sitters intend on leaving July 3. Presently I am on vacation and need replacement sitter from July 3 thru July 8. I will be home late July 8.
I have two wirehair fox terrier's. One very social male, and one rescued female. The female is a bit leary of strange men, but will warm up to them if she feels comfortable around them. Both are indoor dogs in need of walks. Being terrier's they are watch dogs, not guard dogs, do bark at just about any noise, especially at night. Male has a 2 hour tank, will not go outside at night without an escort. Female has a 12 hour tank, no worry there. They both sleep on bed with me, but not sure if they will want to sleep with a stranger. Neither one has been left over night or kenneled. Dogs do not have any health issues.
Sitters have informed me my dogs are not house broken. I suspect sitters are not following through with my disclosure male dog needs to be told to go out every 2 hours and walked daily. Female is just playing follow the leader. This disappoints and frustrates me since I am 8000 miles away from home.
Santa Rosa is the door to wine country. Plenty of wineries to visit. I have a warm and inviting condo, bath, washer & dryer, pool.
