This is an opportunity for a recently retired couple to live in and caretake a comfortable three bedroom house on a farm on the Western Darling Downs. We are a progressive family farming business with over 30 years on this property. We are offering the successful applicant the house rent free, free power, mobile and farm vehicle in return for maintaining the house and gardens and light farm duties. The farm duties include, moving tractors, trucks and other machinery from paddock to paddock and assisting in the garden at homestead. Ideally we are looking for a couple that will work together. The farm duties are light and can take a few hours some days however there will be some days and weeks that there will be no work to do. No prior farm experience is required however we are looking for a practical couple as these light farm duties are important to the efficiency of our business. We have had two couples over the last 5 years and it has been a mutually rewarding experience for all concerned.
