I do not have exact dates at this time, but I am 90% sure that I will leave on May 23rd (early in the morning!). I might return on June 19th, or I might stay away a few days longer. Probably no later than about June 25th.
I am searching for a housesitter to take care of my dog (Calvin). He is very sweet and loves housesitters! Calvin requires two feedings followed by a brisk walk (morning and evening) for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. He is friendly and enjoys company, so any other attention is welcome. He has not spent much time around children, so I need a housesitter without children.
I have a front and back yard, that require cutting with a small push mower (not powered). That is negotiable, however, since my back yard is rather large. I would consider hiring a landscaper for that month. No other yard work is required.
I live in Salt Lake City, very close to downtown and about two blocks from Liberty Park. The house is about 100+ years old, and about 1000 square feet. But, the rooms are rather large, so it does not feel cramped. It has one bedroom, and one bath. It would probably be best for a couple or single person. I do not have a driveway - street parking only. But, it's a very quiet street.
I require either professional references (past employers) or housesitting references (I would prefer these, if possible). I have had other housesitters in the past, and I'd be happy to provide references from them if you would like.
