We are looking for a reliable person or couple to house sit our Brussels apartment and lovely cat for the duration of ten days from 15th - 26th August 2013.
We live in a third floor apartment in central Brussels with two cats. The apartment is very spacious with one large bedroom, an open eating and living area, seperate kitchen, bathroom, toilet and utility area and large balcony over looking a large shared garden. Our cat, Basil is two years old and very cute. He likes to play alot and have lots of affection. He is predominately an indoor cat.
Brussels itself is a very relaxing city with lots to see and do and lots of history. It is especially lovely in the spring/summer as there are many places to eat and drink outdoors and it has a very continental feel. The food here is amazing and of course the famous belgian beer is a real treat. A knowledge of the french or dutch language is a bonus but definetly not a must as everyone here speaks good english.
Our apartment is situated in the heart of the city just 5 minutes walk from the north station. It is a lovely location as its very central but is in business area so quiet at night.It takes ten minutes to walk to the Grand Place in the heart of Brussels. Brussels is also only an hour on the train to Brugge, a beautiful Belgian city of Dutch origin.
Our main priority is that Basil is loved and cared for when we are away and also the apartment is well maintained. Non smokers are a must and the person must be able to provide references as well as police checks.
