We have an unusual request - a bit like a cross between a house sit and a house share.
We have a house on 2.5 acres in rural Sheldon (28km from Brisbane) with a bus stop directly outside the driveway. Capalaba shopping centres are a 5-10 minute drive away.
Currently we drive out there every second day to feed our cat, chooks, ducks and an aviary with ring necks as we live in the city. Ideally we would like someone to stay there and feed the animals during the week so we don't have to make the trip.
Here's the tricky part - we would still like to come out on the weekends to work the property and drop of fresh food for the animals but we wouldn't stay overnight.
We'll provide the animals' food so we don't need you to do anything else other than feed them and maintain the place.
We don't mind how long you stay as this is negotiable.
