My partner and I live in a very comfortable farmhouse on a quiet country road. We have a cuddly dog, Chester, and we are hoping to find someone who will keep him company while we are away for two weeks this January. He lies around a lot and can take himself for walks in the back field, though he also enjoys going for jogs and hikes and is perfectly behaved on a leash.
The house has a very positive feeling from room to room. It has been well-loved over its many years. There are trails all around, for snow-shoeing and x-skiing, a horse ranch right down the road, and a river just across the street. The situation here is private and scenic--ideal for decompressing or creative work. We don't have a television, but we do have wireless internet and a lot of books. The place is heated with forced air from an oil furnace, and we are located ten minutes to the nearest town of Baddeck, where there is a grocery store, coffee shop, gas station, etc..
