My husband and I are going overseas for around seven weeks from 28 March and return 1 June (might be slightly amended by a day or two). We live in Sunbury - 15 mins west of Tullamarine Airport and approximately minutes to Melbourne (not in peak traffic though).
Scooter is our Maltese Terrier, absolutely adorable, very friendly and cute as a button who is a recycled little pooch, aged around 5 years old. Scooter is a quiet, friendly little fellow who didn’t have a very good start to life and it’s important that his routine be maintained as much as possible. Plenty of love, a bit of a play and sitting quietly next to you on the sofa to watch TV plus a walk every day, as well as picking up doggy poop every other day and ensuring there is plenty of fresh water.
Scooter sleeps inside so a pre-bed trot around the court (5-7 minutes) to ensure there are no little mishaps please, and he would love to sleep next to your bed on his doggy bed if you have no objections. We also have two parrots that will need feeding and fresh water that can occasionally skip a day of feeding as long as the water is topped up.
Other tasks are minor, we need someone to do minor garden maintenance – watering and trimming the lawn as required, keeping the house clean and tidy, collecting mail that kind of thing.
Our home is modern with all mod conveniences including wifi, lovely garden with an entertaining area located in the courtyard off the kitchen and is located in a small, quiet court. Close to a large variety of shops, cinema and public transport. We have a very large collection of DVDs ranging from documentary to sci fi and more.
Would suit a semi retired person or couple with plenty of experience in house sitting, we are seeking someone in the over 45 age group, no pets, no children, must be a non smoker with police records check/s and 2 references.
