We live on a two acre property with a lovely old indoor cat who requires tender loving care.
The house is warm and comfortable with a wood-burning stove. It is situated on a very quiet, no-through road with views into the bush, there are a few neighbours on the road but none within direct view of the free standing home. The towns of St Helens and Bicheno are about 45 minutes away on the coast, and the small and very friendly town of St Marys is 5 minutes away.
There are numerous beautiful beaches up and down the east coast and the world-renowned Freycinet national park is about 1.5 hours drive away. The magnificent Bay of Fires area is about one hour in the opposite direction. This is a tranquil setting which would suit someone looking for the quiet life.
Bella our dear cat would need feeding twice a day, morning and early evening. She is quite well mannered and does enjoy company greatly, she is elderly and we keep her indoors during the day but allow her to go out once the sun has gone down for a short while, but she comes back indoors for most of the evening and all of the night. There is an indoor litter tray which would require cleaning.
We have tank and creek water, there is no garbage service or mail to the home. The house is on a septic tank and has solar hot water supplying a lovely fully refurbished bathroom. We are renovating the house and there are some areas not finished cosmetically but the home is comfortable and welcoming. There is a small fenced garden and a large area of open grassland. A creek runs through the property and the wildlife is quite abundant at night.
