Cascade is a small town about 80 miles north of Boise and is a vacation destination for Boise. Our house sits across the golf course from Lake Cascade with views of the lake and the mountains on the other side of the lake from the living room and bedroom. There is ice fishing on the lake, cross country skiing and snowshoeing out the front door, and downhill skiing within 30 minutes of the house. All this within city limits with streets kept well cleared of snow, and only 1/4 mile from restaurants and stores and 1 block from the small hospital. It's a gorgeous place for a white Christmas, but we can't promise it!
