there are two cute little old wooden houses on the property. I live in one and the other is for visitors, you or who ever wants to come stay there for some time. I'd like you just to keep that house warm and loved, in the winter shovel some snow.
the houses are heated with wood. there is no running water but there is a well next to the house and I also gather rain water. no shower but there's sauna outside between these two houses for taking baths :)
here you have to be prepared to live a little bit in a way they did 100 years ago :) this means carrying water from the well, knowing how to start and keep up a fire, using candles and oil lamps for light etc. either you should be an adventurer or used to living a simple life!
this is a beautiful area with a lot of hiking paths and just walking in the woods or skiing on the ice when lakes are frozen.
the visitor house is cuter and warmer than mine but doesn't have electricity. I like a commune ambient and cooking and spending time together, and I'm not at all private about my cottage for electricity use etc.
I can share with you what it is like to live a peaceful simple life in the charming finnish countryside! it is nice. even the winter is a perfect time to relax, take everything in, and there's something very romantic about fire in the chimney indoors and then white snow outside :)
