Oratia is a low density ex-orchard valley community (still with some working orchards) at the foot of the beautiful Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland, with a network of forest walking tracks, including the Hillary trail . Residents here like to keep the city's hustle and bustle at arm's length, and enjoy a 'country living' type lifestyle. A very good train service to central Auckland (25 mins) is just 10 minutes drive away. The 3 bedroomed house is elevated, light with fabulous views to the North, with the Waitamata harbour, and the sky tower in the distance. We are looking for a non-smoking sitter or couple who will care for our house and property and our 6 year old cat while we travel in Spain. We have excellent neighbours.
