My flat is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Didcot, a town with excellent rail connections (15 minutes to Oxford, 45 minutes to London on the Paddington line, an hour to Bristol). Parking is available, and there is a bus stop nearby. The rail station is about a mile away, as is a supermarket and other shopping. In addition to proximity to Oxford, Didcot is on the National Cycle Network and has lovely cycling in the area. I've got bikes you could borrow, or if you bring your own they can be safely locked up outside.
I have a private entrance up a flight of stairs, and a small porch. There is one very small bedroom containing a double bed and a bookcase. Bathroom with bath/shower; kitchen with washer, fridge, cooker, kettle, toaster; sitting room with a sofa, table, bureau and wardrobe. I don't have a TV but I do have wifi. The flat is really, really small, but it's cosy and cheerful.
I have some houseplants/herbs, and a very affectionate cat.
