Florida House & Cat Sitter
Needed:
We require a house sitter who can take care of our house and very friendly cat, Tommy, while we are traveling from Jan. 15, 2018 for 24 days. Our house is in Tallahassee, the State Capital and location of Florida State University.
Tommy:
Tommy adopted us a few years ago. Previously, he was living with one of our neighbors but when they got a dog, he looked for another home…where he would be king. He is very friendly; loves to sit on your lap and purr. He is an indoor cat, very friendly and easy to take care. You will enjoy him. He does need to be given some saline solution regularly to keep his kidneys functioning correctly. We can show the house sitter how to do this or he can be taken to our vet’s office 5 minutes away.
The House:
The house is a single story 1800 sq ft brick ranch in one of the nicest suburbs in the city. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with one bedroom serving as an office. The house is centrally air-conditioned. We have wireless internet, cable TV and all electric appliances. The house, built in 1979, was recently renovated and is in very good condition with all new furniture and is in a very nice quiet neighborhood…we have lived here since 1980. We have monthly maid service as well as lawn and yard care on a biweekly basis.
About Tallahassee:
Tallahassee is the capital of Florida and home of Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Our home is convenient to shops and restaurants, and about hours to beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Maclay Gardens, a former estate and now a Florida State Park, is only a few miles from our home. It is beautiful any time of year with many different flowers in bloom. Tallahassee is just a short ride to many Gulf of Mexico beaches.
