We’re looking for a house/pet sitter for our lovely 4 bed home in Wiltshire during Sept and Oct 2018.
We’re based in a quiet hamlet near Box in Wiltshire, which is 15 minutes drive from Bath. The house is an old Victorian miners cottage, which has recently been extended. The downstairs is a large open plan kitchen, dinner, lounge, with a separate toilet, office and utility room. The upstairs comprises of 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). There is also an loft conversion containing the master bedroom and a further en-suite.
The house is perfectly located for walking, something we love to do, and have plenty of maps and books containing different routes for you to use.
About us... my husband and I are in our mid 30s, have lived here for a year after moving from the city and have recently had a baby. We’re planning a family trip while on parental leave so hoping to leave the house and pets in safe hands.
Our pets... we have an adorable chunky cat called Bandit. He’s a 5 year old tabby exotic shorthair and a real personality. He’s a proper lap cat and loves attention. Our dog, Lampo, is a 2 year old Bedlington Whippet cross. He looks a bit like a miniature wolf hound and loves nothing more than running round the local fields and cuddling on the sofa. He needs around an hour of walking a day but sleeps most of the rest of the time!
We’d also be interested in someone with an interest in gardening to keep the garden neat and tidy while we’re away.
We’d be more than happy to send additional information or answer questions if you’re interested in finding out more.
