Retired and with my children now grown, I no longer maintain a home of my own, so I am completely free to housesit for you. I move about the country in my small travel trailer, usually traveling the northern tier during the warmer months and during the winter I can be found somewhere in the Southwest. During January, February and March I am in Tucson, Arizona. From Tucson I head for California, then work my way back to the Northeast.
I do not use alcohol or tobacco. I am a retired manufacturing engineer with good organizational skills. My housesits have been for durations anywhere from one week to 7 months so I am willing to cover just about any situation that you may present. I prefer longer sits, but short-term sits of a week or so can usually be worked out, depending mostly on distance of travel for me.
Your pet(s) will be in good hands. I have cared for dogs, cats and birds. In fact, at one housesit I cared for two cats, three dogs, a cockateel and a parrot!
I am handy with most things around the house. After I retired in 2007 I was the sole proprietor of a small handyman-type business for about three years until I decided to travel and housesit full time. I have owned homes with a swimming pool and I love to work in the garden, so I can take care of those things for you.
