Being a current home and pet (1 Russian Blue cat ) owner myself, I am more than aware of the attention a property and its furry family members need.
I have many years house/pet sitting experience I enjoyed the company of a darling old Akita( massive Japanese husky dog). I returned many times over the years until she sadly passed away Other sits have been: Two weeks in Hallet Cove with two beautiful kitties for company. Three weeks in Semaphore with Lilly. Tabby in house kitty. Two weeks in Pennington with Lucy. In house kitty. 10 days with a trio of very different charactered cats in the Adelaide Hills.
Another, now regular local sit, is for the most active and playful young Beagalier who would melt the hardest heart! The home owners also leave me the car to take him to the beach.
I have enjoyed house sitting in many suburbs of Sydney. In Randwick I was taking care of the stay at home residents: guinea pig, rabbit and two cats.
I house sat in Alexandria Sydney. The owner was away for three months and having just relocated from Darwin he left me a long list of projects and investigations to complete before his return. I managed then all!!
Another Sydney sit was in Parramatta for one month, to care for a very shy cat. We were best of friends within two days of the home owners waving goodbye. I also drove the home owners car while I was here. Quite safely...I add!!
I have also house sat for 3 weeks for two loving cats at Mona Vale, Northern Beaches. A beautiful area of the country.
Two beautiful brown burmese boys in Dee Why for 3 weeks.
And a baby poodle X maltese in Seaford for a week or so.
Two excited pooches in Deception Bay Qld for a fun packed christmas.
Last christmas 2010 was with two darling jack russel terriers in Neutral Bay.
I house sat in Auckland, New Zealand for three weeks over the Christmas period I helped Homer the cat open his stocking pressies.
My love of animals goes back to my childhood. Mice, Rabbits, Guinea Pig, Gerbils, a Slow Worm (non-venomous garden snake) and finally my gorgeous Black Labrador dog. I was also an avid horse woman up until my late teens. In adult life I shared nineteen years with my beautiful black Burmese Cat. Plus now I have my Russian Blue cat who friends queue up to look after when I am away.
