I am a retired teacher and my husband is a retired engineer, with excellent skills in house and pool maintenance. We are ardent animal lovers, having kept them as companions all our lives. All of them have lived into their late teens and were essentially members of our family. We are both non-smoking, active walkers and are fit and competent to deal with most situations. We pledge to care for your home and animals as if they were our own and to treat your neighbours with utmost respect. Our son is working in Brisbane and could pay you a visit, on our behalf, if you so wish. We can provide extremely good references from here in the U.K. and also from Australia. All of our home owners have asked us to return to them. However, since our son and his family have moved up to Brisbane from Melbourne, we need to change our area. We are now looking to spend three months, twice each year in the Brisbane/Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast area.
