NEIL Since taking voluntary early retirement 15 year ago from my position of Technical Officer with a tertiary institution, I have, for the last 9 years been house sitting both city and rural properties, one being for 3 years on a vineyard in Western Victoria looking after two Border Collies, This entailed the usual watering, mowing and simple maintenance around the property. In the final summer I had also taken on the watering of the vineyard. The following eight months were spent house sitting a 4 bedroom executive home near the town of Temora in the Riverina, NSW. Since Temora, house sits ( as listed below) have extended from Northern Sydney, NSW (Galston & Berowra Waters) to Rockhampton, Central Qld. EMMA Although a resident of Tasmania, I've since my retirement (Admin. Officer, tertiary institution) 16 years ago, cared for homes in various locations in Qld., Tas., Vic. and N.S.W. for long and short periods. I have my own car. I'm a single female, fit and healthy, non-smoker and clean living. I enjoy the company of animals and love the outdoors. NEIL and EMMA are presently in Toowoomba, Qld. Recent house sits have been on Bribie Island Queensland,Galston and Berowra Waters (water access only) in NSW. Previous house-sits have been: Caloundra, Rockhampton, Bargara and Bundaberg. Coombabah, Moffat Beach (8 times), Raby Bay (5 times), Robina (9 times), Marrom Creek Northern NSW, Toowoomba (twice), East Brisbane, Cootharaba, Eagleby (7 times), Southport, Holland Park West (7 times), Bribie Island, Wynnum, Manly (twice), Gatton, Eltham and Crystal Creek (Northern Rivers NSW), Toowoomba, Peregian Springs, Buderim, Tweed Heads, Beerwah, Beenleigh, Currumbin Valley, Tewantin. We have looked after a Red Heeler, Border Collies, Beagles, Labradors, Schnauzers, Poodles, horses, a duck, fish, cats, goats (other than ourselves), cattle and birds (of the feathered variety).
