We've been house sitting and registered with Housesitters for more than 8 years. Previous housesit homeowners have always found it a pleasure to return home, as everything is maintained and taken care of (we are very security conscious). Pets are healthy and happy (we love walking them).

“Deirdre is a very honest and trustworthy person who when house sitting other people’s homes looks after the home and animals (if any) as though it was her own. I have personally seen some of the homes Deirdre has house-sat and can say that Deirdre leaves each home in a beautifully clean, neat and tidy condition so that the home owner has nothing to do upon their return.
One of the qualities I love about Deirdre is she is not afraid of hard work and in fact thrives on being active. Deirdre mows lawns, lovingly attends to gardens, walks and washes the dog or cat (if needed) and polishes and cleans the house to an immaculate standard.

"Deirdre has house sat for us on a number of occasions since Although we live in different cities we have during this time become friends and each time we have her house sit for us it is like having a friend come to stay.
We have a pool, chickens, an elderly cat and a vegetable garden all of which are always very well looked after during our absence. Deirdre is a very good communicator and keeps you informed as needed and on return everything is clean, neat and very tidy.
