We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and would be happy to housesit for you. My husband owns his own company and I am retired and am painting now. I have been housesitting in Ajijic, Jalisco Mexico for the better part of last year and returned this Jan/Feb, as well as heading back to housesit Oct/Nov. So I have been housecaring mostly in central Mexico, but would also like to housesit on the Coast(ocean). I have travelled extensively and have been to many places in Mexico also and am quite knowlegable about how things operate quite differently there. I was recently in the Yucatan in the BiosSpere, one of the few places in the world where you can see thousands of pink flamingos en masse, in the wild. Gorgeous place. Last winter I volunteered, on my own, in orphanages in Cambodia and 'that' was a life altering trip, to say the least. It has changed my way of thinking and living. I now appreciate more than ever before, all that we have here on this continent and how truly blessed we all are.
I am very neat and love to surround my home with simple things. I take great pleasure in keeping our home a place of comfort and relaxation. You can be away and rest assured that your home is as cared for as if you were there yourself. We are very conscientious about caring for our own home and my husband laughs as I am busy cleaning the house before the cleaning lady arrives. Needless to say, we don't have one anymore :) Pets are not a problem. We have cats and our older sons look after them if we are away. Our German Shepard has passed away, we miss her still(she was my Mom's). I am available to care for your home year round but especially in the winter months as -48 just doesn't appeal to us much anymore lol Thank you for considering us for the opportunity of caring for your home.
