Annie and I are self funded retirees in our early sixties. We are very fit and healthy, can turn our hands to most things and are adaptable, conscientious and have great senses of humour We are both ex professional fire fighters from Auckland. I retired after sixteen years service as an officer to take up boat building and Anne retired after twenty-two years service to open a personal training business. In 1998 we took to the road and spent 10 years travelling around N.Z and Australia in our motor home. Previous to this we lived for seven years on our boat cruising and diving the coast of N.Z. Three and a half years ago we sold our motor home and launched ourselves into house sitting full time....the perfect occupation for Annie and I who are not quite ready to settle. We have done many house sits between Australia and N.Z and are currently finishing a 3mth(second time) sit in Mooloolaba after which we return to N.Z to look after a vineyard in the Wairarapa. We love animals, have in fact done a small boutique farm in Greytown for the second time - cats, 3 x labradors(extensive walking), alpacas, miniature horses,sheep, cattle, donkeys and chooks. We have no children, no commitments, don’t smoke, enjoy a wine and are avid golfers and travellers We have great references which are available to be viewed on this
