I am an experienced house-sitter who, with my late wife, happily completed house-sits in New Zealand, Australia, USA and Central America.
The latter was a three month house-sit in Costa Rica, caring for two adult dogs and a growing puppy; a three week house-sit in San Diego, California, featured five dogs. Napa Valley was even more interesting, involving an Aussie Shepherd, six cats, a dozen birds, and overseeing a business. My background includes business management and ownership, home ownership and rental investment. I've enjoyed a lengthy career as a broadcaster and, as a former small farm owner, am very experienced in the care of household pets, as well as larger animals.
I have a soft-spot for Dalmations, which I've owned for many years. Just as importantly, I am free to travel almost immediately, almost anywhere in the world. I am fit and healthy and capable of tackling all challenges.
A Kiwi 'can-do' attitude with excellent practical and interpersonal skills means any problems are resolved with minimal fuss.
As a property owner, I appreciate the importance of leaving your home in safe and capable hands, and as a great communicator, I can keep you updated during longer absences.
