We (John and Catherine) are retired and have enjoyed home swaps and housesitting. We'll take excellent care of your home and cat or dog.  John is a retired chemist and Catherine enjoyed corporate computer training. 

So far most of our housesits were done by Catherine,  in Palo Alto, CA, Lexington, MA, Portland, OR, Woodstock, NY,  FL and Maine.  In two of these instances, power was lost for more than 24 hours.  I love to explore new areas and enjoy the simple pleasures of reading and knitting.

We prefer assignments that last a few days to two months.  We've raised 2 and now have our third springer spaniel.
