Both individuals had cats; in addition the lawyer's law office was on the ground floor, with home on the upper floor. I kept the law office open during their normal business hours. I house and cat sat for the university professor/couple numerous times here in Victoria, and can provide you with References from both the Lawyer - couple and Professor/couple. I did house and dog sit for 2 weeks in the Cowichan Valley, but haven't kept in touch with those folks.
Love cats and most dogs; great companions; I provide loving care; although my arms do not permit me to walk big dogs. I had cat pets most of my life, however where I live now, I'm not able to. So, I will really enjoy petting and hanging out with yours. Small dogs are best for me or labs that have adequate area to run.
Water plants and gardens, I love those too, have been involved with gardens since I was a youngster. I've been told I've got the nicest flowers (without trying very hard), in the area that I live in.
